At J&P Avax we work on a daily basis within the framework of CSR adapting good practises in relation to the human beings, the society, the market and the environment. Our commitment to CSR reflects to all our actions and strengthens the way we operate, supporting our growth and improving our position as much as within Greece as internationally.

J&P Avax group is one of the strongest construction groups in Greece and internationally and recognizes the importance of CSR as much as in the charity level that traditionally supports, as well as in new forms that have occurred during the last decade.
The group’s CSR activities are split in the following categories:
• Charity by sponsoring charitable institutions, non-profit organizations and associations.
• Blood Donation - Organized by the Blood Bank aid company.
• Environmental through participation in recycling programs, taking the necessary measures to minimize environmental impact, educating and sensitizing employees on environmental issues.
• Education through financial support educational institutions, technological equipment as well as in the form of grants.
• Scientific research & development in the form of grants.
• Cultural through the purchase of art and the support to museums and cultural centers as well as in the form of grants.
• Sports in the form of grants.
• Religious in the form of financial aid.
Our company has focused mainly on charitable content sponsorship and aid from the infancy of the company, much earlier than when CSR began taking hold as a policy amongst companies.
For 2014, the personnel of the group participated in 10 training courses of 321 hours in their entirety. The company has provided its employees about 200 tele-toll transponders on their journeys on motorways of Greece. Also, has granted approximately 700 mobile connections to its employees.

• Financial support for a field trip of Metsoviou Civil Engineering department.
• Sponsorship in cancer fundraiser.

• Donation to the foundation of friends of Steliou Joannou.
• Financial support for the theater group S.A.K.A.
• Grant to the Athens College Alumni society.
• Grant to MDA HELLAS union to address further the muscle related health problems.
• Donation to ELPIDA foundation.
• Sponsorship of Make-A-Wish Foundation - SAINT NICHOLAS.

• Sponsorship for a monument of the society of friends of Cyprus’s Cultural Center.
