Description

The Group has a Human Rights Policy, which is a means of declaring compliance with applicable laws and international standards and guidelines, making it clear that it respects Human Rights and shows no tolerance for their violation. The Group also adopts:

• Code of Ethics/Line Code of Ethics-Whistleblowing System

• Supplier Code of Conduct

• Policy for Combating Discrimination, Violence and Harassment at Work

• Regulation of Operation

• Internal Labor Regulations

• Open Resourcing Policy and Procedure

 

Health and Safety Policy The principles of the UN GLOBAL COMPACT, of which it has been a member since 2008:

• defense of freedom of association,

• elimination of child and forced labor,

• elimination of discrimination in the workplace and in the supply chain.

 

All the companies of the Group, in all the countries of operation, have signed the Diversity Charter.

 

Fourlis Group, within 2022, implemented the following actions in the Diversity and Inclusion axis:

 

  • Conducting a survey of employees in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Romania, on issues of diversity and inclusion and a related campaign to encourage employees to participate in it.

Actions for women's empowerment, such as:

  • Empowerment campaign for the women of the Group starring 40 female employees in the Group who shared their views on the role of women in the modern era, on female role models, but also on what makes them proud.
  • Discussions (vodcasts) held by the Director of Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility of the Group, Ms. Lida Fourlis, with 3 dynamic women, Christina Karabela, Vice President of Actionaid Greece, Frosso Tzinziropoulou, Health Psychologist and Psychotherapist of the "Alma Zois" Association and Vanessa Archontidou, Founder-AWomanCanBe.org, Alpinist & Motivational Speaker EU Climate Pact Ambassador and which were posted on a corporate internal communication tool. Through the dialogue, important issues regarding women's empowerment emerged, so that every woman can understand how she can achieve anything she dreams of.
  • Pop Up Café, an action in the context of which the Director of Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility of the Group, Mrs. Leda Fourlis, held meetings at the facilities of the Group's companies in Attiki and Ioannina with female employees of the Group, to discuss issues that concern them and to inspire each other, for the ways they can offer more strength and perspective to the women of the Group.

In 2023, the Group continued to focus on issues of diversity and inclusion by implementing the following women's empowerment actions:

 

  • 1st cycle of a 6-month MENTORING program, in which 22 female employees of the Group in Greece participated. The program was implemented in collaboration with Women On Top.
  • In the context of Women's Day, FOURLIS Group invited all employees to participate in the celebration of this special day by leaving a comment, in a relevant post in an internal communication tool, about the reason why they admire and respect a special woman in their life. Participants were given a total of 100 books on the empowerment of girls and women.
  • Implementation of the #I Am Remarkable workshop for employee empowerment. The workshop was implemented for the employees of the Group in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Romania.
  • Fourlis Group received an honorable distinction with a Bronze award at the PR Awards 2023 for the internal communication program implemented on the occasion of Women's Day 2022 and entitled "We dedicate March to the women of the Group".

In 2024 and until today, the Group has proceeded with the following actions:

 

  • 2nd cycle of a 6-month Mentoring program for 25 women.
  • International Women's Day photo contest with wellness gifts for the winners. Until the end of the year, additional actions are planned in the Diversity and Inclusion axis with the aim of empowering women but also with a special emphasis on people with disabilities.
