The transparent and detailed disclosure of information on the management and performance of the Group's Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility for the reference year 2022 with the aim of informing all its interested parties.
In the context of promoting transparency related to its business operation as well as the fight against corruption, bribery, and fraud, the Group has established and implements the codes, regulations, policies, and procedures, which also cover its subsidiaries and for the which more detailed information is available, for all its interested parties, in the Sustainable Development report and at www.fourlis.gr.
The report is annual. Policies are in permanent effect.
The Report is the 14th in a series published by the Group and is addressed to all stakeholders of the Fourlis Group and to all those interested in the approach, management, and performance of the Group in matters related to its contribution to Sustainable Development.
Responsibility, transparency, and accountability to stakeholders are the foundations on which the Fourlis Group builds the future. The annual sustainable development report is an important tool for communication and continuous dialogue with its stakeholders, while it also contributes to the continuous evaluation of its broader strategy on sustainable development issues, to the further strengthening of its practices and policies and to taking action for areas for improvement. Anti-corruption, anti-bribery and anti-fraud policies, practices, regulations and procedures ensure the prevention and combating of related incidents as well as further enhancing transparency. The report covers all of the Group's activities in all countries of operation. The policies, practices, regulations and procedures to combat corruption, bribery and fraud concern the entire Group in all countries of operation.
The Report has been prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards 2021 sustainable development reporting standards. The Group considers that this choice reflects its commitment to connecting its broader strategy with its environmental, social and socio-economic impacts and its contribution to Sustainable Development, in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN. For the compilation of the Report, specific indicators of the ESG Information Disclosure Guide of the Athens Stock Exchange (2022) were additionally considered. The listed FOURLIS A.E. PARTICIPANTS participates in the ATHEX ESG index of the Athens Stock Exchange.
The Report received external assurance (limited assurance) from the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Services Department of EY Greece. The design of the form was edited by the company The Nomad Design Tribe.
The project is implemented by the Division of Sustainable Development and Group Social Responsibility. The Corporate Governance Division is responsible for the establishment and implementation of policies related to transparency and the fight against corruption and bribery and fraud.
