Description

IKEA's “Stations of Joy” Social Responsibility program is being implemented for over a decade with the aim of supporting municipal nurseries and kindergartens, through the creation of well-designed and functional spaces where children spend a large part of their day. The initiative, which started in 2013 in Greece, as part of the overall Social Responsibility program of Fourlis Group, is implemented in collaboration with the Municipal Authorities. For each station that is included in the program, a study is carried out by IKEA's experienced decorators and in collaboration with the educators as well as the representatives of the Municipality, the interventions that will be carried out in order to meet the needs of each station are selected.

The program is also implemented in Cyprus, since 2017, with the design and formation of public and community kindergartens.
