Description

The 100% Greek company MEGA and the Greek Sani Sensitive personal care products stand behind the Third Age and support the "APOSTOLI" Charity Organization of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, in a major nationwide information and prevention campaign for Dementia. This is a pan-Hellenic Corporate Responsibility program, focusing on the prevention of third-age health in our country.

Third Age is the portion of the Greek population facing most of the most serious health problems due to age. According to the Ministry of Health in Greece, it is estimated that there are 200,000 dementia patients and this number is expected to exceed 600,000 by 2050. Moreover serious incidents remain without medical examination, without diagnosis and therefore without treatment.

The purpose of the campaign ιs to travel Greece, in order to give people over the age of 60 the opportunity to carry out free memory tests by qualified scientists and to be informed about the risk factors and the importance of timely diagnosis of the disease.

The campaign has so far traveled to more than 64 areas .
