Objective Action
Participation of the UNESCO Chair of Intercultural Policy of the University of Macedonia in the UNESCO initiative: "Futures of Education Learning to become" in the framework of the internship of 42 trainees on: "UNESCO actions for an inclusive education", in order to explore the design and formation of "Education of the Future" and its contribution in sustainable development and in active global citizenship.
Target Audience
The 42 trainees of the UNESCO Chair for 2021 and the dissemination of knowledge presented during the training seminar organized by the Chair to the participants and the international community with the publication of the essays on the official platform of the program UNESCO.
Duration
It started on March 26 and finished on April 30, 2021
Presented on May 24, 2021 in the framework of the three day seminar "UNESCO Actions for Inclusive Education in the framework of the 17 UN SDGs".
Description
Preparatory stage: Attendance by Mrs Anastasia Psallida, PhD Candidate and research associate of the UNESCO Chair of the online event of the UNESCO ASPnet Network for the "Future Aspects of Education" (3 webinars of the UNESCO Associated Schools, on 26, 31 March and 1 April 2021).
Implementation stage: Training by Mrs Psallida of the UNESCO Chair trainees on the UNESCO Global Initiative "Futures of Education Learning to become" which aims to review how knowledge and learning can plan the future of citizens and the planet, on April 12, 2021.
Participation of trainees in the UNESCO online research on the purposes and challenges of future education (April 2021).
Attendance of a seminar by Ms. Vera Dilari, MSc, Director of International Relations at the Ministry of Education in the framework of the initiative "Futures of Education Learning to become" and a discussion on Education for Sustainable Development and Education for Global Citizenship "Focus Group Discuss on Education ”, on April 17, 2021. Evaluation of results.
Participation by the 42 UNESCO Chair trainees in the UNESCO initiative: "Futures of Education" with their individual essays on "How they imagine the Future of Education", on 18-29 April 2021 under UNESCO Chair's mentoring.
Final stage: Announcement of the trainees’ views on the Futures of Education in the 3day UNESCO Chair seminar on 24 May 2021 by Mrs Psallida.
