Objective Action

The book is a collective volume of texts by academics, researchers, experts in national, European and international aspects of educational policy on the Protection of the Right to Education and Educational Policies. Given the importance of the right to education and its incorporation into a large number of international and European instruments, it is a unique scientific tool for Education and the Right to Education, a very important educational policy handbook.

It is aimed at educators, lawyers, parents and those concerned with children and young people regarding ways to protect the right to education at national, European and international level.

The collection of this book consists of two parts: The first part is entitled "The protection of the Right to Education" and refers to the national context, the protection of the right by the United Nations system, the UN, the OECD and UNESCO, the Regional Organizations Europe, the Council of Europe and the European Union, and America, Africa and Asia, and its protection for minorities and socially vulnerable groups such as the Roma, children of migrants, refugees and returnees. The second part is entitled "Education Policies-Intercultural Policy" and records European education policies and their impact on national education policies by presenting the funding and control of European policies in the European Education Area, the development and recognition of skills and qualifications in the context of the Europe 2020 strategy, the need for digital literacy of citizens in the Information Society and intercultural education in the European Union. It is noted that the volume includes a list of International Acts and Judgments of International Courts regarding the Right to Education.

This book is a key handbook for educators, lawyers, parents and children and young people on how to protect the right to education at national, European and international level, the role of global and regional organizations in it, the need to integrate human rights education, the intercultural dimension of education and the protection of minorities and socially vulnerable groups.
