Description

The initiative “Protecting the Environment with Actions” is a long-term program of AstraZeneca Greece. Its actions were thematically linked to mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division):

  • 2019: Subtraction of pollution – clean-up of 5 beaches.
  • 2020: Addition of oxygen – reforestation in Neos Voutzas, Attica.
  • 2021: Multiplication of energy – solar LED columns in parks of Athens and Thessaloniki.
  • 2022: Division of knowledge – environmental awareness in schools.
  • From 2023, the focus shifted to large-scale reforestation: 4,000 trees planted in 2023 and 8,000 in 2024, with a pledge to reach 30,000 trees by 2030.
