Objective Action

The highest Platinum mark (Zero waste) according to the 'Zero Waste to Landfill' standard was awarded to all Titan's cement production plants, in Kamari, Patras and Thessaloniki, in the context of the global shift from a linear to a circular economy and waste landfill reduction.

Target Audience

Our commitment to the principles of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility is not limited to compliance, but is a voluntary mission to positively impact the world around us. We expect this initiative to have long-term positive effects involving our employees, shareholders, local communities, customers and suppliers.

Duration

From 2021 onwards.

Description

The innovative certification, carried out by Eurocert, confirms the excellent environmental performance of Titan's factories and rewards the practice already followed, of diverting factory waste from landfill at a rate approaching 100%. This is achieved through proper management and actions/initiatives to prevent the generation of waste that would otherwise be sent to landfills.
