Objective Action

The aim of the Code of Interdependence that we have created as Chiesi is to inspire our partner companies (our suppliers) to shape together a real Ecosystem, in which we will all together raise the level of sustainability as it is today, in order to achieve, and in many cases to we exceed the minimum requirements of the B Corp movement, of which Chiesi has been a part since 2019.

At Chiesi, we manage our partnerships with care and attention - for us it's not just a supply chain, it's a real Value Chain.

Description

The Interdependence Code is a set of values, goals and tools derived from the collaboration within Chiesi and the companies that are part of its ecosystem and represents a fundamental part of the evolution path towards full sustainability. Through the code we recognize how necessary and urgent it is to act, with the awareness that each of us is necessary to the other and that we are all responsible for future generations.

It is an innovative document, 24 pages, based on 4 important international frameworks such as PSCI (Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Initiative), ILO, B Corp and the UN SDGs. Developed by Chiesi in direct collaboration with its strategic partners, it is a dynamic document that will be updated annually and according to new sustainability and partnership requirements, focusing on 8 of the 17 SDGs supported by Chiesi.
