ELIX is promoting voluntary service and education since 1987, realizing international voluntary actions, for the protection of the environment and our cultural heritage, intercultural exchanges and social service projects.

ELIX activates in the field of environmental protection since its establishment in 1987. A basic and important element in more than 200 activities organized by ELIX over these years is the awareness and information of local communities in which it operates, as well as volunteers' awareness.

From 1987 until today.
Actions for environmental protection such as reforestation, protection of species, trails, etc. are organized every year in different regions of the country. The actions are conducted by teams of volunteers from many countries in cooperation with the local government. These actions involve residents, local craftsmen and local authorities workers. An integral part of our actions is the participants' awareness. Also, many workshops, public events in a systematic basis and Conferences have been organized over these years.
From the above deion of the action, it is clear that the results cannot be measurable.

As the NGO ELIX is a non-profit organization ensures its viability through its organized actions. This project ensured ELIX the needed resources to continue its function as well as valuable experience for the volunteers who constitute its target-audience.
