Description

At DELTA, since 2011 we have contributed to raising awareness on  good nutrition and food waste prevention among thousands of children with our "Journey to Breakfastland" and "The Land of FoodieLittles" programs. The programs have involved experienced consultants from the DELTA Information Center, who visit private and public structures, such as kindergartens and preschools, to inform children about food waste reduction, proper food storage, as well as healthy eating, packaging recycling, and environmental protection.

In 2023, in collaboration with the educational activity platform for children, The Why Community, we launched a new awareness program on nutrition and food waste for children aged 4-6. The goal of the program is to educate young people on issues of proper nutrition and sustainable consumption in creative ways, focusing on the active participation of children to encourage the adoption of good habits in their daily lives.
