At OLYMPOS we never stop planning and taking actions offering solutions that safeguard the sustainable development of the local communities.

• The production facilities of the company are located in Trikala, Larissa, and Xanthi. We employ to more than 900 people in the regions we are operate. Offering jobs mainly to young people is another motive for the development of local communities. Our social product reached 357mil. € in the year 2021 of which the amount of 19,98mil. € is the salary cost.
• All our senior managers come from local areas where our company’s production units are located (Trikala, Larissa, Xanthi) and we are proud of that.
• We collaborate with more than 3.000 milk producers and 5.000 fruit and nut producers from the Greek countryside.
• On a daily basis, we strengthen and collaborate with local suppliers in all company activities.
• Our company from 2007 has created a strong blood bank in Trikala, Larissa and Xanthi in order to meet possible needs of employees and their families in emergency situations. At the same time, we contribute to blood donation need of local hospitals.
• We are always on the side of the local communities where we operate. In addition to products sponsorships and donations that are available to institutions, schools and social organizations, our company has implemented specific programs concerning the areas of Trikala, Larissa and Xanthi. These initiatives are an actual proof that we are always on the side of local communities in which we operate:
  • Reading encouraging in children and adults: The program started in 2022, and includes events with well known writers in regions that the company is interested in. Each event is accompanied by donation of literary books that the company offer at the public library. The first event took place in Makrichori, a village of Tempy Municipality in collaboration with the public library of Rapsani, with guest writer Mr, Christos Chomenides.
  • OLYMPUS & HOPE GENESIS support pregnant women in the mountainous Elassona of Larissa region. OLYMPUS through the program “Milk needs children”, supports pregnant women in the villages of Karyes, Sarantaporo and Antichasia of Elassona region. At these three mountainous regions, the farmers work hard daily.
  • We love animals and care for their happiness: Loving, caring and respecting animals are core values in our company, and we try to prove it in fact. In these terms, in 2021, we started a program concerning the care of city’s stray animals in Trikala and in 2022, we expanded the program in Larissa and Xanthi.
  • We take care of our children’s health with the donation program of defibrillators at schools:The safety and health of students should be primary concern of both local communities and school units. Responding to this need and understanding the difficulties faced by residents of various remote areas to reach hospitals, we donated 18 defibrillators to schools in Trikala, Larissa and Xanthi.
  • We support the dreams and efforts of children and young people: we empower and reward young people. We support them in every step of their dream. In these terms, we respond positively to such requests that we receive from local society.  
  • We support the sports and fair play: At OLYMPUS, we make sure to be next to the efforts and dreams of athletes, supporting athletes from local teams, strengthening sports spirit. A typical example is Mrs. Fani Tzeli , the Tae Kwon Do athlete from Trikala, in whose person our company discovered her talent very early and supported her from the beginning of her career, before she was even known to the general public.
  • Schools’ Reovation program in villages and remote areas: We started the renovation program at the primary school of Karya at Elassona region.
  • Voluntary clean-ups in our cities: The cleaning of Pinios river in Larissa with the initiative of our company and the volunteer’s participation tends to be permanent. Similar actions are organized by our company in Trikala and Xanthi.
