Objective Action

The goal of the company's new programs is for each employee to be able to identify those factors that negatively affect their performance and productivity, for example by focusing - identifying and minimizing those factors that increase stress, cause mental and physical illnesses , in the increase of absences from work, etc.

The Advisory Support program is carried out through the telephone service line (8001150327 - from landline, free of charge or 6948050163 - from mobile, charge depending on provider's pricing policy). We turn to advisors for support around the clock, all year round.

The cyber talks take place online and those interested can either watch them in real time (at the time of the meeting) or study-consult the file with the presentation shared by HR to all staff after the talk is over.


Description

The comprehensive program of Practices, Benefits and Incentives that we have consistently applied for a number of years is based on the analysis of the main issues of human resources and concerns 100% of our employees. Through the program, we aim to provide a working environment in which our employees can feel safe and creative. At the same time, we are committed to a system of values that governs our working relationships and is based on respect, trust, equal opportunities and meritocracy.

Current developments have caused anxiety and a constant effort to manage the demands of personal, family and professional life. Understanding the modern needs and putting personal health and well-being as a priority, in July 2021, the company decided to include a new employee support program, in collaboration with the company Hellas EAP, in our company's benefits with the aim of the 24th Telephone Counseling Support line to manage a range of challenges we face every day. The line is next to all of us and immediate family members under one roof, anonymous, confidential and unlimited. It is a timeless and interactive Support, Relief and Empowerment Tool, specially designed for our employees and family members.

At the same time, in addition to the employee assistance program, the company implements cyber talks - a new method of informing about issues that concern all colleagues. These topics are of a general nature and consist of suggestions that could help in our daily life. They are held online with the support of guests in each field/topic.

Impact on Society

We are a conscious company that cares about the mental health, well-being and health of its staff. When employees are healthy with personal well-being and are satisfied with the benefits of the company where they work, they are also more productive, a better working climate is created, harmony in the team and goals are more easily achieved.

The results are not yet measurable as the program has not even completed a year of implementation.

However, we should mention that in the first cyber Talk held on March 8, Women's Day, more than 75% of our company's people participated.

This will be followed by a staff survey of usefulness and satisfaction with the programs, and job performance will be evaluated on a percentage scale, as the counseling program is confidential. The resulting data would be purely from the staff survey.

The Employee assistance program of GENESIS Pharma is a program that offers tailor-made consulting services related to psychology, nutrition, physical exercise, work, etc.

In the Cyber Talk "Nutrition & Healthy Living" that took place in November 2021, the keynote speaker mentioned that the WHO - World Health Organization has announced "Adequate nutrition can increase productivity levels by an average of 20%"
