Description

We took measures 2 weeks prior to the nationwide lockdown in 03/2020 in order to ensure safety and continuous access to treatments for all patients.

Immediate creation of a 2nd Logistics Center

Establishment of an emergency plan in order to ensure the uninterrupted operation of both logistic centers and the entire company.

COVID-19 MEASURES:

From the 1st COVID-19 patient in Greece (26/2), before Greece’s Nationwide lockdown (23/3), we initiated emergency plans

Proactively 40% of warehouse personnel started Work from Home (9/3)
Warehouse personnel was split into 2 separate groups, working weekly rotation (9/3)
Activation of 2nd Backup Site (Disaster Site)
Safety features in Warehouse-Plexiglas, Masks, gloves, disinfectants, use of thermometer
Safety features during deliveries
Training in warehouse & distribution procedures of Backup personnel from other departments
Activation of Fax to Email function for Incoming Orders
Transfer of calls from CS call center to mobile phones
Close monitoring and special labeling for orders delivered by couriers
Extra laptops were procured to cover all CS & office-based employees who worked via desktops
IT infrastructures to enable & support 100% WFH capabilities (9/3)
Use of Adobe Sign for low risk Internal documents
Smart Phones with 22GB Mobile data for all employees

CONTINUOUS EFFORTH to bring new THERAPIES to patients in need: - Successful completion of new product negotiations during lockdown (Imraldi) resulting in commercial launch in 07/2020 - Inception of a product (Spinraza) negotiations with the authorities in 03/2020
DIGITALIZATION. Procurement of necessary hardware to our personnel in order to perform the work from home. - Enhancement of working remotely with immediate and high usage of MS TEAMs and relevant platforms to ensure seamless communication, - Use of Cisco Jabber software to connect with work telephone lines - Roll out of e-newsletters & implementation of webinars in order to preserve the communication with HCPs

MAINTAIN SAFETY: Thorough cleansing & disinfection of all premises, Formation of protocol safety procedures for the logistic centers according to the government instruction.
