Just before Christmas, on Monday 19 December 2022, a SKAG representative visited two primary schools on the island, Vatheos Primary School and Neo Karlovasi 1st Primary School (known as Porphyriada), to offer smiles to the young students. In particular, SKAG donated state-of-the-art educational equipment, such as interactive whiteboards, computers and projectors, which will substantially improve the educational process on a daily level, but also stationery and filing products to cover significant shortages of school units. It is worth noting that both schools on the island of Samos suffered significant damage after the 2020 earthquake, with the Vatheos Primary School having been temporarily installed in a container.
