Demonstrating a responsible attitude towards the community as a whole, as well as actively supporting the society through initiatives and actions that drive social progress, form an integral part of the corporate culture at Netcompany-Intrasoft. Company’s vision is to utilize IT and Digital Transformation in carrying out projects that help create sustainable societies with equal opportunities for all. In that respect, the Company’s projects contribute to achieving 16 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The “Netcompany-Intrasoft YOUTH” program underscores the company’s commitment to fostering the growth of the future IT professionals, through knowledge sharing. Passing on knowledge to the young generation is a strategic pillar underpinning the Sustainability strategy of Netcompany-Intrasoft and company's commitment towards the values of education and knowledge dissemination. The program embraces all levels of education, including kindergartens, elementary, high schools and Universities. It is important to mention that education is linked to the company’s work culture and value system, constantly investing in cutting-edge, innovative learning strategies, ensuring that its people will develop skills that will prepare them for future technological challenges.

Internship opportunities:
Over the last years, Netcompany-Intrasoft has been on a dynamic growth trajectory leading it to an ongoing talent scouting, allowing it to provide the young generation with the opportunity to acquire work experience in the top IT company in Greece, and at the same time one of the key IT companies in Europe. The well-designed internship program offered by the company allows student to obtain training from day one supported by its specialized staff members. It is worth mentioning that in 2022, 106 interns completed an internship with Netcompany-Intrasoft, and 67% of them decided to continue their career path in the company, after the end of their internship.
Career days & Webinars:
The company participates throughout the year in Career Days and webinars in collaboration with almost all Universities, where both the experienced human resources team and the employees of the company take part through open dialogue as mentors, in order to offer vocational guidance and support to the students.
"Exploring the IT sector" through Strategic Partnership:
Netcompany-Intrasoft meets youth in the classroom, in partnership with “The Tipping Point” NGO. For the school years 2023-2024, Netcompany-Intrasoft is passing on the knowledge to schoolchildren through a series of “Exploring the IT sector” sessions. Netcompany-Intrasoft offers the opportunity to schoolchildren living in rural areas (remote towns, villages and islands) of Greece, to take part in the “Exploring the IT sector” educational sessions, to:
● enhance their understanding of the IT field and industry;
● showcase the developments and new opportunities offered in the coming years in the industry;
● inspire schoolchildren using examples of IT professionals, men and women, in order to help them envision their future and pursue a career in the IT industry;
● be better informed on IT studies, prospects and different specializations.
Netcompany-Intrasoft employees serve as mentors, by sharing their expertise with the younger generation.
In this initiative, it is very important to note the significant response and participation of the company’s employees, who serve as mentors by sharing their expertise with the younger generation in order to showcase the substantial contribution of IT to society and prepare tomorrow’s IT professionals.
The "Exploring the IT sector” initiative, which forms part of the “Netcompany-Intrasoft YOUTH” program, directly benefits schoolchildren, while indirectly benefiting their circle of friends, classmates and family, who are also affected by the action. At the same time, participation of the company’s employees reinforces their link to the company’s objectives towards a sustainable future.
Student and schoolchildren visits:
In collaboration with several public or private secondary schools, as well as universities, the company holds student and schoolchildren visits to its premises annually, in order for the specialised staff to share their knowledge with them. This allows students and schoolchildren to achieve a better understanding of the IT industry, as well as of the characteristics and skills they will need to acquire, if they want to work and excel in that industry.
Scholarships:
Youth education and empowerment are integral to the development and growth of our society as a whole. Since education lies at the core of the company’s actions, our scholarship program has been of particular importance to us for years. Our scholarship program is carried out in collaboration with CTY Greece Anatolia College, supporting a program that offers to schoolchildren the opportunity to develop their passion for learning. Furthermore, since 2020, the company has been working together with “ExcellenSeas by Pastra Cretonaxiosa”, supporting the ExcellenSeas program, which is addressed to senior high school students from outlying islands that are admitted to university schools. Finally, in the context of our scholarship Program, we have been collaborating with Athens University of Economics and Business, in order to offer scholarships to postgraduate students.
“Giving IT equipment a new lease of life” initiative - Technical hardware donations to schools, universities & NGOs:
Over the year, the company donates technical hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, keyboards, etc.) to all education levels (kindergartens, elementary, high schools and Universities and NGOs), aiming to meet schoolchildren and students’ needs and improve their education, while giving technical hardware a “New lease of life”.
“Happy School Year” for the children of employees:
Every year, the company has been focusing on the 1st graders children of employees (in Greece, Brussels and Luxembourg), to support their first steps in education. Every September, the company has been providing school gifts that support children embark on their school journey with feelings of excitement and joy.
Supporting Student Teams and NGOs focusing on the young generation:
Throughout the year, Netcompany-Intrasoft supports NGOs that focus on and foster the young generation (including, but not limited to: The Smile of the Child, Junior Achievement Greece, ASBL Solidarité Grands Froids, Theotokos Foundation). It is worth mentioning, that during Christmas time, through the “Spread the Joy, Give a Toy” initiative, the company’s employees voluntarily gather and donate books and toys to NGOs, both in Greece and abroad, to support children in need.
Moreover, Netcompany-Intrasoft has been supporting student teams, to encourage the young generation to keep up working towards their goals and thrive. Our support towards Prom Racing, the Greek Formula Student Team of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), is noteworthy, aiming to facilitate the design, building and manufacture of racing single-seater cars in order to take part in the global Formula Student competition.
More Young Women in IT:
Another important goal is to continue to increase the already significant percentage of young women hired in the IT industry through the company’s activities. The proportion of women currently employed in the company is 34%, which is significantly higher compared to the Greek (21%) and European (20%) average in the IT industry (according to Eurostat – High Technology Sectors). The company hopes to inspire the young generation of girls, to envision their professional future in the industry, through multiple activities, and particularly though the “Netcompany-Intrasoft ΥΟUTH” program. In that respect, the company actively supports gender equality-related actions, and, through the active participation of female colleagues in talks that are held at events, universities, schools and workshops, it raises awareness, in order to attract more women in the IT industry.
