Ayvens Greece’s Mobility for All initiative was designed to address a critical yet often underestimated challenge for civil society: that of limited access to reliable and sustainable transportation solutions. The lack of adequate transportation negatively impacts the operational effectiveness of organizations, particularly in remote or vulnerable areas, limiting their ability to serve vulnerable groups and ensure unimpeded access to basic needs, such as food, healthcare, and social support.
The main objective of the initiative is to remove this structural barrier by providing civil society organizations with free access to vehicles. This substantially strengthens their operational capacity, improves their response time, and expands the geographic reach of their activities. In this context, mobility emerges as a key driver of social cohesion, equality, and environmental protection, enabling organizations to reach more beneficiaries and carry out their work more efficiently.
Overall, Mobility for All aims to serve as a model for collaboration between the private sector and civil society organizations, highlighting mobility as a catalyst for strengthening social resilience, inclusion, and sustainable development.

The Mobility for All initiative is aimed at a diverse group of beneficiaries, with a focus on enhancing social and environmental value through mobility:
1. Direct beneficiaries – Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)
Nonprofit organizations active in critical social and environmental sectors such as social care, health, poverty alleviation, the inclusion of vulnerable groups, and environmental protection. The initiative aims to strengthen their operational capacity and the effectiveness of their actions by addressing a key operational gap related to access to reliable transportation.
2. Indirect Beneficiaries – Vulnerable Social Groups
This category includes individuals and communities served by the partner organizations. Examples include people living in poverty or experiencing homelessness, refugees and migrants, people with substance use disorders or inmates in correctional facilities, older adults, as well as residents of remote areas or people with limited access to health services. Through this initiative, their access to basic goods and services—such as food, healthcare, and social support—is substantially enhanced.
3. Local Communities & Remote Areas
The initiative is expanding its reach to local communities with limited transportation infrastructure, such as island communities, rural areas, or regions affected by crises and natural disasters. In these settings, improving mobility plays a crucial role in maintaining social cohesion and strengthening local resilience.
4. Environmental and Ecological Organizations
The initiative also supports organizations and actions focused on protecting biodiversity and natural ecosystems. Providing access to appropriate means of transportation facilitates faster and more effective implementation of interventions on the ground.
5. Society at Large
At the macroeconomic level, the initiative contributes to strengthening social cohesion and improving the overall quality of life by promoting social contribution, sustainable mobility, and cooperation between the private sector and civil society organizations.
Launched in 2023 and continuing to this day, this initiative highlights the company’s long-term commitment. The results of the SROI analysis cover the two-year period 2024–2025, reflecting the social impact of the initiative. The initiative continues to this day with no end date set.
Ayvens Greece’s Mobility for All initiative is an innovative corporate social responsibility program that leverages the core of the company’s business—mobility—to enhance its social and environmental impact. The initiative was designed based on the recognition that mobility is a critical factor for the operation of civil society organizations, which often face significant limitations in accessing appropriate means of transportation, thereby reducing their operational capacity and the geographic reach of their activities.
In this context, Ayvens Greece implemented a program to donate vehicles to selected organizations throughout Greece, supporting a wide range of activities, such as food distribution, providing medical care, social reintegration, crisis response, and biodiversity conservation.
Overall, Mobility for All stands out as a holistic, innovative, and high-value-added initiative that transforms a core business resource into a strategic tool for creating social and environmental impact, setting a modern standard for responsible business practices.
A key innovative element of the initiative is the linking of mobility to the creation of measurable social impact through the application of the internationally recognized Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology. This approach allows the initiative to be evaluated not only based on the resources provided, but primarily based on the meaningful social changes it brings about in the lives of beneficiaries and in local communities.
At the same time, the initiative incorporates principles of sustainable mobility through the use of electric and low-emission vehicles, helping to reduce the environmental footprint of its activities.
Implementation is based on close and ongoing collaboration with participating organizations, with an emphasis on tailoring the solutions provided to their actual operational needs. Furthermore, particular emphasis is placed on ensuring transparency and reliability through participatory evaluation processes and the active involvement of stakeholders.

The primary objective of the initiative—to strengthen the operational capacity of civil society organizations by providing free vehicles—has been largely achieved.

Nationwide – 6 regions of Greece (Athens, Thessaly, Heraklion, Crete, Samos, Chalki, Florina), with activities in urban, island, and remote communities.
The Mobility for All initiative is being implemented through a strong framework of collaboration between Ayvens Greece and civil society organizations, highlighting the importance of cross-sectoral synergies for creating a sustainable social impact.
Seven organizations with different missions and geographic scopes are participating in the program (for example: KETHEA, Doctors Without Borders, Emfasis, Equal Society, Dinner of Love, Arktouros, Municipality of Halki), which use the vehicles to carry out social and environmental initiatives.
The collaboration is not limited to the provision of resources but is based on a participatory approach, in which the organizations’ needs are systematically mapped and mobility solutions are tailored accordingly, ensuring maximum effectiveness and optimal use of available resources.
The initiative strengthens collaboration between the private and social sectors, creating a sustainable partnership model in which corporate resources are strategically leveraged to empower civil society. Through this collaboration, we maximize social impact and develop an ecosystem of shared value with long-term benefits for all stakeholders.
The Mobility for All initiative served as a catalyst for Ayvens Greece employees to participate in initiatives, creating opportunities for meaningful corporate volunteering through partnerships with civil society organizations. Beyond the company’s operational support for the initiative, employees have the opportunity to actively participate in social interventions that have an immediate impact.
Specifically, in collaboration with “Deipno Agapis,” employees participated in cooking and distributing meals to homeless fellow citizens, strengthening social solidarity and human connection. Similarly, through a partnership with “Emfasis,” volunteer food distribution initiatives were organized in remote areas such as Rizovouni—providing immediate support to vulnerable communities. At the same time, in partnership with “Equal Society,” employees help organize charity bazaars within the company’s offices, providing financial support to social organizations and initiatives.
The implementation of the Mobility for All initiative offers multifaceted and measurable benefits for Ayvens Greece, strengthening both its business strategy and its position as a responsible and innovative organization.
