The purpose of the company, according to its articles of association, is non-profit, but generally financial in the sense of article 784 of the Civil Code and consists mainly in the improvement of education infrastructure, culture, historical study, dissemination and preservation of culture, history and of the arts throughout Greece.
Specific purposes of the company are:
The collection, organization and dissemination of published and non-historical material, archival documents and data in order to promote the historical stock.
The collection, organization and dissemination of published and non-cultural material, archival documents and data in order to promote the cultural stock.
Conducting archival programs in order to save and organize the archival material of institutions, associations, bodies, municipalities, churches and companies and to record their history.
Conducting archival programs in order to save and organize personal archival material of writers, MPs, mayors, poets, university professors, folklorists, collectors, etc. and to record their history.
The organization of historical, cultural and religious walking tours / tours.
The organization of days, conferences, theatrical performances, concerts, exhibitions and photography exhibitions.
The organization and operation of research programs for the study and promotion of Culture and History.
The organization and operation of research programs for the Preservation of Historical Documents and Cultural Heritage.
The organization and operation of a library and site on Modern History, Art History, oral history, economic history, business history, quantitative history, and historical research methodology.
The publication in books, albums, CDs, DVDs and site of research results and actions.
Cooperation with Municipalities and governmental state organizations, with local national and international organizations, with scientific organizations and companies with the aim of organizing information networks and disseminating information on archives, museums, libraries and research programs.
Spreading the values of volunteering.
