Description

Do One Good Thing! is an inclusive and dynamic volunteer platform that invites citizens to actively engage in meaningful action. It connects individual initiative with collective impact, cultivating empathy, social responsibility, and environmental awareness.

Through a variety of experiential and community-based interventions, the program aims to strengthen participants’ mental well-being while generating positive social and environmental impact—on an individual, community, and global level.

The program includes a wide range of adaptable activities based on community needs:

  • Tree planting and clean-up operations in parks, public spaces, and natural landscapes

  • Volunteering in mental health units (e.g., creative activities, companionship, beautification)

  • Food and basic goods collection and distribution in Basic Goods Structures (social groceries, shelters, etc.)

  • Artistic actions (murals, beautification of facilities, art-based workshops)

  • Experiential workshops promoting empathy and mental wellness (e.g., yoga, mindfulness, storytelling, art therapy)

  • Educational programs for children and adolescents focused on social solidarity and environmental responsibility

  • Gardening activities in enclosed structures or communities, promoting connection with nature and psychosocial empowerment
