Corporate Social Responsibility Actions Report 2025

BUSINESS: 624 PRACTICES

The 'Corporate Social Responsibility Actions Report 2025' initiative of Mitsis Group was developed with the aim of substantially strengthening local communities and creating long-term social value across the destinations where the Group operates. Through a broad framework of social initiatives, the programme seeks to support critical sectors such as healthcare, education, social welfare, civil protection and sports, contributing to the development of more resilient and socially supported local communities.

The initiative primarily targets the local communities of the destinations where Mitsis Group operates, including healthcare institutions, educational organisations, civil protection authorities, sports clubs, NGOs and social organisations. At the same time, it indirectly supports employees, families, young people, students and vulnerable social groups, strengthening social cohesion, solidarity and community support at a local level.
The initiative was implemented throughout 2025 as part of Mitsis Group’s Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.
The initiative includes an extensive programme of social contribution and corporate responsibility actions, which exceeded 200 social impact initiatives in 2025. The interventions focused on healthcare, education, civil protection, social welfare and sports through donations of medical and technical equipment, support for public schools, playground upgrades, collaborations with sports clubs, and support for NGOs and social organisations. Through long-term partnerships with local stakeholders, the Group substantially strengthened its social impact and contributed to the sustainable development of local communities.

The initiative generated substantial and measurable social impact across the local communities where Mitsis Group operates. In 2025, more than 222 social responsibility actions were implemented, supporting hospitals, schools, civil protection authorities, sports clubs and social organisations in Kos, Rhodes, Crete, Corfu and Kamena Vourla. At the same time, the continuous increase in initiatives – from 77 actions in 2022 to 222 in 2025 – reflects the ongoing expansion of the Group’s social impact and its contribution to the creation of more resilient and socially supported destinations.
The initiative was implemented across destinations where Mitsis Group operates, including Kos, Rhodes, Crete, Corfu and Kamena Vourla.
Through long-standing partnerships with healthcare and social care institutions, educational organisations and school communities, civil protection and public safety authorities, local authorities, sports and social organisations, as well as civil society organisations, the Group actively contributes to the development of more resilient and socially supported destinations, approaching tourism not only as a driver of economic growth, but also as a force for positive social change.
The active participation of Mitsis Group employees played a key role in the implementation of the initiative, particularly through the 'Mitsis Group of Companies' Voluntary Blood Donation Association, which has been operating continuously since 2017. Through the long-term participation of employees in volunteering and social contribution activities, more than 816 blood units have been collected to support local blood banks, while over 250 units have already been provided to employees and their families. This participation strengthened the culture of solidarity, volunteering and social responsibility within the organisation.
The initiative substantially strengthened the relationship of trust between Mitsis Group and the local communities and social stakeholders of the destinations where it operates. At the same time, it reinforced the Group’s corporate reputation as a benchmark for responsible and sustainable hospitality, enhancing transparency, stakeholder engagement and the organisation’s overall ESG strategy. Furthermore, the active participation of employees in volunteering initiatives strengthened corporate culture, employee engagement and the sense of belonging within the organisation.
