Description

ELINOIL, has always been respectful and honest towards its customers, setting high quality standards in all the products and services it offers. Company’s activities include procedures that enhance its business operation and are closely implemented. In this context, ELINOIL, being a synonym of reliability in the Greek fuel market, implements the "Committed to Quality" program daily, throughout its supply chain, through an innovative program of triple quality control of its fuels and lubricants.

More specifically, ELINOIL has established a special service for the control of quality, ensuring the correct execution of the process during the delivery of heating fuel. This service carries out sample checks and certifies the integrity of the delivery’s quantity, while at the same time, the tank trucks of the company are equipped with a GPS system and electronic fuel level measurement systems, through which their route and delivery quantities are monitored, ensuring the correct delivery of fuel. In addition, it carries out with its privately owned, secret vehicles, inspections for tampered pumps and deficient deliveries at its gas stations. The procedure followed is in line with the European standards which are the most demanding in the world for the protection of the environment and human life.

ELINOIL's "Committed to Quality" program is strengthened with the participation of the independent Bureau Veritas, which has the biggest and most reliable laboratory specialized in the analysis of fuels and lubricants in Greece and one of the biggest in the world. Bureau Veritas carries out quality sample checks on its products, both fuels and lubricants, at all gas stations, on all deliveries at the company's premises and at all stages of its supply chain, including the receipt, storage, and transport of products, up to their delivery to the end consumer, with more than 1,000 sample-takings and analyses per year. Bureau Veritas then analyzes the samples and notifies ELINOIL of the results. These procedures guarantee the high quality of fuels and lubricants, protecting customers from unlawful behaviors.

The innovation of the “Committed to Quality” program, however, lies in the addition of a third party in the quality control process. ELINOIL is the only fuel company in the world that implements a complete, specialized, and certified set of quality assurance procedures.

ELINOIL, always pioneering and with a strong focus on consumers’ protection, is the only company in the industry in Greece that includes a third party in the quality control procedure. Lloyd's Register, also an independent controller,  ensures that both ELINOIL's own inspections and those of the Bureau Veritas are carried out in the most appropriate manner. The third party’s auditing includes written procedures for each stage of the supply chain, internal and external audits, and semi-annual reviews of the company’s Quality Assurance strategy. At the same time, it certifies the integrated quality assurance management system in all the activities included in ELINOIL’s supply chain.

For many years, the core of the company's business culture is the principles of Total Quality Management. Aiming at its continuous improvement, ELINOIL has developed a multidimensional business model that combines strategy, procedures, and human skills. As a result, it is the only company in the sector in Greece, which has received Business Excellence certification from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) for its "Committed to Quality" manual, submitted in the previous stage of the program.

The company is certified under ISO for its Quality Management System (ΙSO 9001:2015), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015), Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001:2018), and Fuel Quality Management System (ISO 3170-1).
