ASSOCIATIONS: 43 PRACTICES

The organization "New Agriculture New Generation" aims to create career and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth in the Agrifood sector in Greece. The organization was established under the initiative and with the founding support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), as part of its "Recharging The Youth" program.
The goal of the Social Farming 360o program was to use social farming as a tool for education, skills development, and the social reintegration of incarcerated individuals within correctional institutions. Through sustainable agricultural production, professional development, and psychosocial support activities, the program aimed to strengthen participants’ employability and support their preparation for life after release. At the same time, it contributed to food security and sustainable food production within correctional facilities.

The Social Farming 360o program was primarily addressed to incarcerated men and women in correctional institutions across Greece, aiming to support education, skills development, and social reintegration. The initiative also involved agricultural and technical staff within the correctional facilities, as well as collaborating trainers and support professionals.
