We read very often about people, usually women, who have been the victims of fraud either through the internet or in more traditional ways, where they have been defrauded financially, psychologically, emotionally and/or socially. For example extorting money from them by giving them false hopes of some kind of relationship between them or in some blackmailing way after they have extracted personal data and so on.
These people usually do not have a support network around them to turn to and this turns them into easy victims. These acts are a form of psychological abuse and for this an approach from specific scientific specialties is needed. From psychologists to empower them so that they can overcome it and be able to effectively deal with similar situations in the future, lawyers who can be turned to for legal advice and guidance and IT specialists for information on how to behave online .
She_support is an action where voluntary psychologists and a  legal office with a number of associate lawyers from Thessaloniki cooperate with the She-Society for Help & Empowerment organization and offer the above services free of charge to the victims. The victims address the SHE organization with a message or email (even anonymously) and after the situation is evaluated we immediately put them in contact with the scientist they need, without the She organization having any involvement, due to confidentiality, except the information/ control over the development of the incident.
The need to create this specific action came from the fact that there is nothing similar that addresses this type of abuse. It is partially treated by the police as an illegal act if it has been done but there is no concern for the mental health, mental balance of the victims and their future safety from similar actions
