This groundbreaking social action aims to cover the basic needs of our students, throughout the academic year.
The innovative social project "I Care for You" by the Municipality of Peristeri, is addressed to University students from low-income families.
Academic year.
On a monthly basis, various necessities, such as oil, pasta, fruit juices, cold cuts, milk, canned food, cereals, legumes etc, are delivered to the student's place of residence, absolutely free of charge.
Under the conditions of the social services of the Municipality of Peristeri:
2014 : 155 students
2015 : 189 students
2016 : 229 students
In the whole Greece , in cities studying students.
Cooperation with the Social Pantopoleio Municipality of Peristeri.
Five (5 ) of Peristeri municipality employees and seven ( 7) volunteers Peristeri city.
Through the generosity of the businesses that have become sponsors of this action and through the full support of the volunteers, the Municipality of Peristeri has managed to materialize this project, without burdening the municipal economic resources - and with the strong belief that all the citizens of Peristeri take pride in the social action "I Care for You".
