Save Your Hood movement empowers initiatives and gives citizens the means to act by providing common ground where everyone can express their ideas and concerns and empower each other towards healthier neighborhoods. Save Your Hood started as an initiative to raise awareness on the waste problem among the growing public, uniting active citizens and other voluntary groups throughout Greece, in order to change our mentality. Waste of all kinds - plastics, other materials, everyday objects, recyclables, construction waste, marine debris, organic and even hazardous waste has been collected to this day. The need for all of us to have cleaner, more aesthetically pleasing, healthier places to live in, unites us so that together we can act immediately and see our neighborhoods change for the better.
