"ALLIANCE FOR GREECE" DESIGNS AND PROMOTES INTEGRATED RECYCLING PROGRAMS IN PUBLIC AUTHORITIES AND PRIVATE ENDITIES

ASSOCIATIONS: 35 PRACTICES
In a period of long economic hardship for our country, there are still some "romantics", who, despite the many, still believe that we Greeks can succeed, as long as we combine common action , the specific goal and the uncharitable behavior.
This "romantic activism" is expressed through the great effort to highlight the dominant role of Culture , Tourism , Sports , the Environment and Volunteering in Greece.
In the summer of 2010, the institutional bodies of communication, SDE (Association of Advertisers of Greece), EEDE (Association of Advertising and Communication Companies), EITISEE (Association of Private Television Stations of Athens), EIIRA (Association of Owners of Private Radio Stations of Athens), Union of Film and Television Producers (PAKT) and SEPT (Association of Newspaper Press Businesses), joined forces for the first time to achieve a common goal: the awakening of Greek society and the recovery of the Greek economy.
This initiative essentially expresses the determination of the private sector to offer its services to the Greek state on a non-profit basis, so that in this period of prolonged economic crisis, the country receives the greatest possible assistance from the most robust and healthy branches of the Greek market.
The Hellenic Banks Association (EET), the Association of Mobile Telephony Companies (EEKT), the Association of Petroleum Trading Companies of Greece (SEEPE), the Panhellenic Association of Cosmetics Industries & Dealers stood by the side of the institutional communication bodies, almost from the beginning of the project. & Perfumes (PSVAK), the Panhellenic Exporters Association (PSE), the Association of Greek Food Industries (SEBT), the Hellenic Association of Branded Products Industries (ESVEP), the Union of Hellenic Phonograph Producers (IFPI), the Association of Greek Retail Businesses (SELPE) , the Panhellenic Union of the Pharmaceutical Industry (PEF), the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Thessaloniki (EBETH), the Association of Informatics & Communications Companies of Greece (SEPE) and the Hellenic Scouts Corps (SEP).
At the beginning of 2012, the whole effort took shape, as well as legal status, as an Urban Non-Profit Company with the name "ALLIANCE FOR GREECE" , whose founding members include important personalities of culture, business, sports and of volunteering.
The "ALLIANCE FOR GREECE" is also strengthened by their active participation and action, many public and private bodies, organizations, businesses and also individuals, executives of all levels of the business hierarchy.
With this initiative and through the support, volunteering and cooperation of private and public sector, we have achieved the following important goals:
This initiative is addressed to all employees in both private and public sector. All those employed in the facilities and offices of Ministries, Organizations, businesses etc. who have joined our recycling programs take part in the achievement of a very important and multifaceted purpose relevant to:
Environment - Society - Supply – Employment
Integrated recycling programs are aimed at people of different social and academic backgrounds. These are thousands of employees in the Public and Private Sector, people who work at:
The initiative has been implemented for 5 years and will continue in the future.
ALLIANCE FOR GREECE implements programs regarding Culture, Tourism, Sports, Environment and Volunteering. We are proceeding with synergies between our companies/members but also with the private and public sector to achieve the following goals:
Based on the above and knowing the countless benefits of recycling, ALLIANCE FOR GREECE designed an initiative to protect the environment and promote environmental education through synergies between companies and organizations in private and public sector.
We contacted both public and private sector to establish synergies and we were able to promote integrated recycling programs to as many as possible. After 4 years we managed to get the following organizations and businesses to join the rewarding recycling and circular economy programs:
It is an innovation because at the same time it serves different purposes achieved through the cooperation of many different companies and organizations in both private and public sector:
We started our first integrated program of Rewarding Recycling as a pilot in 14 Services of Greek Police, in Athens and Thessaloniki. Today it has been extended to other Services throughout Greece. Subsequently, we included in the program Ministries, Public Organizations and Private Companies such as:
Results in numbers:
This initiative is mainly applied in the area of the prefecture of Attica. However, it has been extended throughout Greece with the engagement of police departments.
For the implementation of this action, depending the recyclable materials, we cooperate with two companies, “REWARDING PACKAGING RECYCLING” and POLYGREEN.
Six volunteers from our members/companies along with employees of ALLIANCE FOR GREECE worked for the planning and implementation of this initiative.
In the new network world strategic alliances are more than just an alternative. They are a necessity. The cooperation between businesses and organizations is mainly an area of productive frames. Through synergies, goals are implemented that concerns the common benefit of all. ALLIANCE FOR GREECE through this initiative has won exactly what it represents. The promotion of "Good Greece". By “Good Greece” we mean that through joint contribution we can achieve many important accomplishments for people, society and environment.
