The enterprise GALENICA SA, the factory of which resides in Glyfa DD of Drosia of Municipality Chalkideon (Evia), specialises in the production, distribution and marketing of pharmaceutical products. All the company employees, recognizing the Environmental Aspects of our activities, we consider the protection of Environment as one of the main challenges we are called to face. For this reason, we allocate all required resources so as to apply a System of Environmental Management.

The engagement for the protection of Environment and for the restriction of impacts of our activities is materialised via following steps:
A. Continuous evaluation of Environmental Impacts of our activities aiming at the reduction of such impacts through the control:
• emissions gases
• wastewater
• the disposal of solid wastes
• the consumption of natural resources
• the likely leakages.
B. Continuous improvement of Environmental Records via:
• the annual examinations
• the establishment of Environmental Aims and Objectives
• the examination of possibility of use of clean technologies.
C. Engagement for conformity with the all relative Environmental Legislative requirements as well as with the all relative Environmental Regulations.
D. Incorporation of environmental issues in the planning of new activities.
E. Preventive measures for extraordinary situations.
F. Environmental education, training of personnel.
G. Encouragement of the internal and external communication with regard to the environmental subjects.
