The municipality of Kallithea remains true to its goal, to once again make our local market one of the most important and authentic in Attica, to promote the local market of Kallithea and to stimulate the relationship between the market and consumers.
MUNICIPALITIES AND ALL VISITORS TO OUR CITY
3 DAYS - 29-30-31 May 2018
Our city is known for its market. A market recognizable throughout Attica, with food and catering at its core. The fish taverns in Tzitzifies, the closed (covered) "Agora ton Pontia" in the center, the scattered taverns and the dozens of mezedokafenedes give their special color to the city. The operation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center and the ongoing projects on our beach attract thousands of visitors and put Kallithea on the tourism map. Increasing traffic is our market opportunity.
For the 4th consecutive year, the Municipality of Kallithea, in collaboration with the Organization of Central Markets and Fisheries, participates in the Pan-European institution Love your local market, organizing a series of events.
The treats in the covered market, the festival of taste tests in Davaki Square, the 3rd hunt for hidden flavors, as well as the "Local Food Festival" action in collaboration with the Kallithea Chamber of Commerce, aim to contribute to making our city a special gastronomic destination with a high position on the tourist map of Attica.
