The Health Center of the Municipality of Igoumenitsa in its 2 years of operation participated in a nationwide Health Center campaign for:

• the prevention of colon cancer in collaboration with microbiological laboratories of Igoumenitsa
• the disease of depression by completing a questionnaire by members of KIFI and KAPI and organizing speeches in collaboration with the Mental Health Center of the Municipality of Igoumenitsa
• free bone mineral density measurements in 299 citizens
• on World Heart Day by organizing an event in collaboration with the Community Center and blood pressure and cholesterol measurements, as well as a free cardiovascular risk assessment.

In addition, he proceeded to:

• free cardiograms by cardiologists – providers of the KEP Health for 96 people
• free mole examination by a dermatologist – KEP Health provider
• implementation of the "KidsSaveLives" program
• talks in elementary schools about proper nutrition and internet safety, in collaboration with the General Hospital. Friends
• speeches in primary schools, as well as seminars for kindergarten teachers about the internet and child abuse, in collaboration with the Smile of the Child and the Honorable Education of Thesprotia
• lectures on osteoarthritis in CAPI and general population
• speech on the functioning of the brain and presentation of the book by the internationally renowned neuroscientist Dr Georgios Paxinos "Kat'ikona"
• speech about traffic accidents and brain injuries caused in Igoumenitsa High School, by the Igoumenitsa Traffic Police and Mr. Paxinos
• training people in first aid and the use of an automatic external defibrillator, in collaboration with the Red Cross of Ioannina - Samaritans Corps
• health walk and guided tour in the Park of Agios Athanasios with the participation of KIFI
• Creation of a Local Center for Volunteer Bone Marrow Donors
• Distribution of leaflets with advice on nutrition and protection from the sun during the summer months
• Information activity about leukemia and the work of the "Vision of Hope" Association, as well as registration of new volunteer bone marrow donors, in collaboration with the Local Center for Volunteer Bone Marrow Donors.
• Speech on the correct use of antibiotics to Preschool and Education teachers by Ms. Daisy Papathanasopoulou, Coordinator of the Healthy Cities Program of EDDYPPY
• Preventive eye examination for Special High School students from Filiaton Hospital and Thesprotia Medical Association
• Speech on the basic rules of first aid and the correct content of a home pharmacy, in collaboration with KIFI and the Igoumenitsa Regional Department of the Hellenic Red Cross
• Informational event on the prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer by doctors of the University Hospital of Ioannina and social workers of the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer "ALMA Zois". Distribution of informational prevention material
• Information and registration of new volunteer bone marrow donors from the Local Center for Volunteer Bone Marrow Donors in the football team A.O. Platarias, in D.D. Parapotamou, at the sports club G.S. PROTEAS, at the Perdikas Cultural Training Association, at the IL PORTO TRIATHLON race, at the Thesprotia Police Department
• Speech on eating disorders by clinical dietitians - nutritionists Mr. Ioannis Soupio, Mr. Evangelos Zoubanea, Ms. Margarita-Angeliki Schina, in collaboration with the Institute of Nutritional Studies and Research
• First aid training seminar for citizens in collaboration with KIFI Perdikas and EKAV Igoumenitsa
• Free speech therapy assessment for children and adults (screening test, individual meetings with parents and personalized guidance) in collaboration with the Association of Speech Pathologists - Speech Therapists of Greece
• Organization of "Skin Cancer Prevention Week" with free mole examination by a dermatologist - KEP Health provider
• First aid training seminar for employees of the "Third Age and Vulnerable Social Groups" Department of the PAKPPO of the Municipality of Igoumenitsa, in collaboration with the EKAV of Igoumenitsa
• Conference on the benefits of walking and cycling for physical and mental health, in collaboration with the Medical Association of Thesprotia, in the context of the European Mobility Week September 16 - 22
• Information campaign with speeches on the usefulness of seasonal flu, herpes zoster and pneumococcal vaccines in adults, at KAPI of the Municipality of Igoumenitsa and in collaboration with the Medical Association of Thesprotia
• Organization of the 1st Panhellenic KEP Health in the Municipality of Igoumenitsa with the participation of mayors and officials from Greece and Cyprus.
