The Information Society s.a.e. is the central hub for the design, development and implementation of Information and Communication (ICT) projects of the Ministry of Digital Governance in the Public Sector.
It plays a leading role in the national plan of digital transformation by implementing projects and state aid actions described in the country's Digital Transformation Bible.
The Information Society participates institutionally in the specialization of the country's digital strategy, implements ICT projects funded by the EU Structural and Investment Funds, the Public Investment Program, the Recovery Fund or through Public Private Partnerships, supports the identification of needs of Public Administration bodies in ICT projects and provides specialized support to bodies throughout the life cycle of the ICT projects they have been called upon to implement.
With great know-how and experience in designing, implementing, and managing innovative projects and e-government actions, its purpose today is to assist the Ministry of Digital Governance in all actions and projects aimed at:
- Upgrading the electronic service of citizens and businesses,
- Transparency,
- Enhancing entrepreneurship and healthy competition,
- Achieving interoperability at all levels,
- The increase of productivity and efficiency of public organizations and the general improvement of Public Administration.
