In a period of long economic hardship for our country, there are still some "romantics", who, despite the many, still believe that we Greeks can succeed, as long as we combine common action , the specific goal and the uncharitable behavior.
This "romantic activism" is expressed through the great effort to highlight the dominant role of Culture , Tourism , Sports , the Environment and Volunteering in Greece.
In the summer of 2010, the institutional bodies of communication, SDE (Association of Advertisers of Greece), EEDE (Association of Advertising and Communication Companies), EITISEE (Association of Private Television Stations of Athens), EIIRA (Association of Owners of Private Radio Stations of Athens), Union of Film and Television Producers (PAKT) and SEPT (Association of Newspaper Press Businesses), joined forces for the first time to achieve a common goal: the awakening of Greek society and the recovery of the Greek economy.
This initiative essentially expresses the determination of the private sector to offer its services to the Greek state on a non-profit basis, so that in this period of prolonged economic crisis, the country receives the greatest possible assistance from the most robust and healthy branches of the Greek market.
The Hellenic Banks Association (EET), the Association of Mobile Telephony Companies (EEKT), the Association of Petroleum Trading Companies of Greece (SEEPE), the Panhellenic Association of Cosmetics Industries & Dealers stood by the side of the institutional communication bodies, almost from the beginning of the project. & Perfumes (PSVAK), the Panhellenic Exporters Association (PSE), the Association of Greek Food Industries (SEBT), the Hellenic Association of Branded Products Industries (ESVEP), the Union of Hellenic Phonograph Producers (IFPI), the Association of Greek Retail Businesses (SELPE) , the Panhellenic Union of the Pharmaceutical Industry (PEF), the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Thessaloniki (EBETH), the Association of Informatics & Communications Companies of Greece (SEPE) and the Hellenic Scouts Corps (SEP).
At the beginning of 2012, the whole effort took shape, as well as legal status, as an Urban Non-Profit Company with the name "ALLIANCE FOR GREECE" , whose founding members include important personalities of culture, business, sports and of volunteering.
The "ALLIANCE FOR GREECE" is also strengthened by their active participation and action, many public and private bodies, organizations, businesses and also individuals, executives of all levels of the business hierarchy.
