The Municipality of Artaion is a municipality of the Region of Epirus, which was established in 2011 from the merger of the municipalities of Amvrakikos, Artaion, Vlacherna, Xirovouni and Filothei.
Its unique city and capital is Arta, whose history begins in the classical era in 630 BC. with the foundation of Ancient Amvrakia and reaches today.
