The fact that the team's base was located in Vonitsa and the organization's headquarters were in Athens, led the team coordination to be held to a large extent remotely, which enhanced the use and the development of online tools. Online meetings took place through platforms such as ZOOM, SKYPE and applications such as jamboard, padlet, shared documents were used. Social networks were used for direct, frequent and effective communication with the team. To use any online tool, the team received special training in them, thus achieving their correct and effective use. In addition, it was ensured that all participants had access to and use of the online tools. As a consequence, teenagers became familiar with the means of technology and developed new skills. During 2018-2020 the team collaborated with the following bodies, which are active in the field of environmental education and awareness, of recycling and reuse of materials: EJBW Weimar, Germany Youth Coop, Portugal Cascais European Youth Capital 2018 Kalamata Environmental Education Center Kalamata Youth Center Hermit Plous Garbage Corfu Minimis Nisyrio Project Municipal and Regional Theatre of Corfu The actions of the youth group for the period 2018-2020 can be summarized as follows: - Beach cleaning - Cleaning of archeological sites - Creation of social media accounts (Facebook & Instagram) for the dissemination of their actions and the awareness of the local community - Creation of an online recycling campaign - Presentation of the group and their actions in the Lyceums of the city of Vonitsa - Preparation of research on the environmental consciousness of teenagers in the city of Vonitsa and presentation of the results at a school event - Participation in 3 international youth meetings - Participation in online trainings by the German organization IBB - Winning a silver award in the category "Natural and Urban environment" at the Volunteer Festival 2019 "Voluntary Action Festival" organized in September 2019 in Athens - Organization of study visits to bodies involved in recycling - Follow of speech lectures and participation in interactive workshops dealing with the environment, recycling and sustainable development such as Erimitis Plus, Minimis, Nisyrio Project, Municipal and Regional Theatre of Corfu, Ano Korakiana Green Corner on environmental awareness and the reuse of materials - Meetings with activists and representatives of local government on the subject of youth and environment
