Description

The Hellenic Book Club, having 45 years of experience in the creation of Lending Libraries and having established 870 Lending Libraries to date, has the required know-how and based on the "BOOK SELECTION" system, makes a targeted study of book selection according to the specificities of its beneficiaries.

The high readability of the books is achieved by ELBI's innovative "Book Selection" program, which is a unique book evaluation system from Readers to Readers. The books are divided by reader age and genre and by 4 quality criteria in terms of content, art of speech, edition and illustration. By systematically operating the book selection, it has created an extensive register of books, resulting in the possibility of sending targeted books adapted to the needs and shortcomings of each institution.

These deficiencies are recorded with the program "Investigation of the creation of a Lending Library in institutions" and in this way, the mood, the particularities of the institutions are detected and material adapted to each target group is sent. Lists of the books that already exist in the institution are drawn up and, in combination with the ages and peculiarities of the target groups, a study is made of the required library material to cover the deficiencies. Thus, this program contributes to the creation of a functional, highly readable, qualitative, organized library that promotes reading. That is why the operation and organization material is also sent for the books that already exist in the organization and are suitable, which are integrated.
