CIVIL SOCIETY: 52 PRACTICES
Forest Protection & Fire Prevention
Our Forest Protection and Fire Prevention initiative is dedicated to preserving natural habitats and protecting them from the threat of forest fires. Through strategic forest clearing, artificial rain systems for prevention, construction and installation of fire lookouts, cutting dry weeds, and installing emergency water tanks, we aim to prevent fires and ensure rapid response capabilities, protecting both nature and communities from unpredictable disasters.

Support following natural disasters
We4all intervenes immediately in cases of natural disasters, providing:
Our approach is holistic and long-term, with the aim of creating a safer and more sustainable natural environment.
All areas under our responsibility have remained untouched by fires and the ecosystems in them are thriving. In total, over 1,000 acres of forest and peri-urban areas.
The residents of these areas, estimated to number over 100,000, are safer because of our actions.

To implement this program, we collaborated with the forestry departments of Pyrgos and Penteli, as well as other organizations such as Humanity Greece. We carry out our work as a certified agency of Civil Protection. We4all is an official partner of the UN, participating in the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021-2023, which aims to prevent, halting and reversing the degradation of ecosystems on every continent and in every ocean. We are also an Official Partner of the European Climate Pact.
More than 4,000 volunteers have participated in our activities, either in clean-ups or in tree prevention and care actions.
Success in our program means impact and support. Hundreds of companies and organizations trust us and form our Environmental Alliance.
