MUNICIPALITY OF KARDITSA

The Municipality of Karditsa, in 2019 procured a charging station for two (2) electric cars at the same time as part of its participation in the European Mobility Week 2019 and the guidelines of the European Mobility Week.

This municipal charging station will provide electric car owners with the necessary charging point for the seamless use of their vehicles. With its installation, the Municipality of Karditsa aims to promote the use of electric vehicles as an alternative means of transportation which contributes to the reduction of pollution and noise within the city, to the environmental awareness of citizens and to meeting the charging needs of electric vehicles, the number of which is constantly increasing, especially among visitors to our city, as there is a shift towards electrification which is environmentally friendly because the emissions are zero. The charging service is provided free of charge by the Municipality.

The operation of the station will be indefinite.

The Green Fund (GNF)

The station is located within the city of Karditsa, in a very central spot to be accessible by the citizens and visitors of the area and for safety reasons and to avoid any vandalism.
