TITAN CEMENT COMPANY S.A.

A Strong Commitment to the Restoration of Mount Parnitha

TITAN and the Pavlos and Alexandra Kanellopoulos Foundation have been jointly implementing a series of actions and initiatives in recent years, aiming to support the national effort to restore fire-affected areas and prevent wildfires. Following the 2023 wildfires, we undertook responsibility, as Restoration Sponsors in Western Mount Parnitha, for implementing measures to protect and rehabilitate the affected areas.

This initiative is aimed at the local community, particularly residents of the affected area, as well as the wider public, which benefits from the environmental restoration of the burned area.

In November 2025, TITAN was appointed as a Restoration Sponsor for Western Mount Parnitha. The works commenced in early 2026 and were completed and handed over in April 2026.

In April 2026, we were pleased to hand over the completed anti-erosion and flood protection works, which we implemented to restore the natural environment of a burned area of approximately 1,000 hectares in Kryoneri, at the Drosopigi location on Mount Parnitha. Thanks to these interventions and with nature taking its course, we believe that the landscape will soon regenerate and turn green again.

The project was carried out by TITAN and the Pavlos and Alexandra Kanellopoulos Foundation, within the framework of the “Restoration Sponsor” scheme, under the coordination and supervision of the Forest Services of the General Secretariat of Forests of the Ministry of Environment and Energy.

The site visit marking the handover of the project was attended by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Stavros Papastavrou, along with representatives of the political leadership and local government, the Forest Service, TITAN, and the Pavlos and Alexandra Kanellopoulos Foundation.

The Forest Services of the General Secretariat of Forests of the Ministry of Environment and Energy undertook the coordination and supervision of the project.

TITAN employees also took part in the implementation of the project, actively contributing to the restoration works in the fire-affected area.

The project was carried out in the fire-affected area covering approximately 1,000 stremmas (100 hectares) in Kryoneri, at the Drosopigi location on Mount Parnitha.

The anti-erosion works contribute to the restoration of the natural environment in the fire-affected area of Kryoneri, at the Drosopigi location.

The initiative strengthens the company’s environmental and social impact, highlighting its commitment to protecting the natural environment and restoring affected areas. At the same time, it fosters a relationship of trust with the local community and encourages employees to actively participate in corporate social responsibility initiatives.
