Roche Hellas

The Roche Children’s Walk is a sponsored walk of Roche employees. Since 2003 and every year, ten thousands of employees at over 100 Roche sites around the world participate, to collect donations for children in need.

Support children in need.

2003 - present

This initiative, which is carried out since 2003 with the participation of all Roche's subsidiaries worldwide, has a symbolic and applied value since on the one hand it reminds the need to support children that are in need and on the other, it motivates employee donation in order to support related actions. The amount collected annually is derived by 50% from donations of the employees and the remaining 50% is doubled by the Company. The total amount donated equally to a non-profit organization supporting and protecting children and to the global initiative implemented by Roche AG related to supporting the children of Malawi. Locally, Roche Hellas offers every year a percentage of the total amount gathered in various charitable organizations. Since 2012, we support the work of SOS Children's Villages.

The participation and commitment of Roche employees is driving force for the implementation of this initiative since 50% of the total amount collected is from employee donations.

Since 2012, we support the non-profit organization SOS Children's Villages by donating 50% of the total amount collected each year to support initiatives designed to protect children who due to serious socioeconomic reasons, are deprived the permanent care of their natural parents.
