| Programme Safe — Safe and Eco-Friendly Driving | ||||
|
Ayvens Greece’s Programme Safe was designed to address a critical and ever-growing challenge: improving road safety and responsible driving behavior in an environment of heightened risks and environmental demands. Traffic accidents have long been one of the most significant road safety issues in Greece, with serious consequences for human life, public health, social well-being, and the economy. The need for safer and more responsible driving behavior remains particularly relevant, as the prevention and reduction of traffic accidents are a critical social priority. At the same time, adopting more efficient driving practices helps reduce the environmental footprint of transportation. In this context, the Safe Program aims to substantially improve drivers’ skills by promoting risk prevention, responsible driving behavior, road safety, and sustainable mobility, thereby helping to address a recognized and ongoing social need in the country. The initiative has two main objectives: • to enhance road safety through education and behavioral change, helping to address a long-standing social challenge in Greece and leveraging Ayvens’ position as a provider of mobility solutions to create safer travel for drivers and society. • reducing fuel consumption and emissions through more environmentally friendly driving practices, helping to limit the environmental footprint of transportation and supporting the transition to a more sustainable mobility model. The innovation of the Programme Safe lies in its design, which transforms driver training from a standard educational process into an integral part of the mobility experience. By combining theoretical training with personalized practical instruction in real-world driving conditions and on the routes, participants take every day, the program directly links knowledge with application. In this way, it creates an innovative approach that enhances the effectiveness of training, contributes to safer and more sustainable travel, and offers added value beyond traditional mobility services. |

The initiative is aimed at a wide range of stakeholders: 1. Companies with vehicle fleets Organizations that aim to improve both the health and safety of their employees and to reduce operational risks, costs, and their environmental footprint. 2. Private drivers Individuals who wish to improve their driving behavior 3. Society at large By improving driving behavior, the initiative helps reduce accidents and enhance road safety for everyone. Furthermore, learner drivers serve as catalysts for spreading improved driving behavior to others. 4. Environment An indirect beneficiary of the initiative, through reduced fuel consumption and emissions. |

| The implementation of Programme Safe began in January 2026 and is currently in the scaling-up phase, with the potential for ongoing training and expansion. |

Programme Safe is a comprehensive driver training program that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, creating a holistic learning experience. The initiative is based on two main pillars: Theoretical training, which focuses on developing knowledge and the right mindset regarding responsible driving. This component includes, among other things—a detailed guide on risk prevention and anticipation, defensive driving, emergency management, and driving under various conditions, as well as practices for more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly driving. Practical training, which takes place in real-world road conditions with certified and experienced instructors, includes practical advice on vehicle control, collision avoidance, and reducing accidents, costs, and environmental impact, ensuring that knowledge is immediately put into practice. At the same time, Programme Safe incorporates strong corporate governance principles, actively contributing to risk management, accident prevention, and the creation of a safety culture. The program’s innovation lies in the fact that it transforms conventional driver training into a comprehensive and experiential mobility experience, fully tailored to the real-world conditions and needs of each driver. By combining theoretical training, practical training on everyday routes, and the principles of sustainable driving, it creates a differentiated service model that links safety, sustainability, and efficiency, offering substantial added value beyond traditional mobility services. |

| Ayvens employees actively participate in promoting and implementing Programme Safe, serving as ambassadors for the initiative to customers and helping to spread a culture of safe and responsible driving. The sales team’s contribution is particularly significant, as they have personally participated in the program’s experiential training. Through their personal experience, they have gained firsthand knowledge of the training modules, practical exercises, and the benefits for both drivers and businesses. This enables them to present Programme Safe with authenticity and credibility, sharing real-life experiences and concrete examples of its implementation with clients. This participatory approach strengthens the company’s internal safety culture, creates a stronger connection between employees and the initiative’s purpose, and helps communicate more effectively the value the program offers in terms of road safety, risk prevention, and sustainable mobility. |

Programme Safe can be implemented nationwide, meeting the needs of clients in any geographic region of Greece. The training is fully tailored to the participants’ requirements and daily routines, offering personalized and immediately applicable learning experience. The certified instructor travels to the location chosen by the driver and conducts the training on the route the driver most frequently takes in their daily life, such as the commute to and from work or their regular business trips. In this way, the training takes place under real-world driving conditions and focuses on the actual risks, challenges, and habits that each driver faces, maximizing the program’s effectiveness and practical impact. The flexibility of the implementation model, its adaptability to different driver profiles, and its applicability regardless of geographic region make Programme Safe an innovative initiative with significant potential for replication and further development. The program can serve as a model of best practice for the mobility sector and for organizations seeking to invest in prevention, road safety, and sustainable changes in driving behavior through experiential training. |

| The implementation of Programme Safe began in January 2026 and is currently in the initial development and scaling phase. To date, the program has been implemented in 5 companies, with a total of 184 drivers having completed the training, directly enhancing their skills in road safety, risk prevention, and efficient driving. At the same time, the program has been presented to 33 additional companies that have expressed interest, with approximately 1.362 potential participants. The initiative targets a wide range of stakeholders, maximizing its positive social and environmental impact. Key beneficiaries include corporate customers and fleet drivers, who, through training, enhance their skills in safe, responsible, and efficient driving, as well as companies with vehicle fleets that seek to reduce operational risks, accidents, and transportation costs. At the same time, Programme Safe is also aimed at private drivers who wish to improve their driving behavior, increase their confidence on the road, and adopt safer and more environmentally responsible driving practices. By changing participants’ driving behavior, the initiative also has a positive impact on society, helping to improve road safety and create safer travel conditions for all road users. At this stage, the results are primarily qualitative, reflected in improved driving behavior, increased awareness of safety and eco-friendly driving, and a strengthened culture of prevention. Meanwhile, the next phase of the program’s evaluation has already been planned, with the goal of producing measurable outcomes. Specifically, upon completion of a full year of implementation, a comparative analysis will be conducted of the accident data for participating drivers before and after the training. This approach will enable the creation of an evidence-based report that clearly demonstrates the contribution of the Safe Program to reducing traffic accidents and improving driving safety. |
