Live Without Bullying

The aim of the project is to combat school and cyberbullying and create a safe and inclusive school environment, through a holistic approach that includes psychological support and counseling, as well as education and awareness-raising.

Children and adolescents aged 13-18, parents and educators.

The program is being implemented since 2016 and has no scheduled completion period.

Live Without Bullying is an innovative program to prevent and combat school and cyberbullying, which is an initiative of KMOP and consists of an online platform www.livewithoutbullying.com and the application for Android mobiles, through which the public can receive free and anonymous counseling, by exchanging messages with professional psychologists specially trained on dealing with bullying. The platform also includes training seminars for parents and educators regarding prevention and combating of violence and bullying, as well as the innovative online educational game for students, which aims to teach the phenomenon to students, so they can deal with it themselves.

A memorandum of cooperation has been signed with the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, with the Ministry of Sports, as well as with KEDE, in order to disseminate the program in areas such as schools and athletics academies, where more children are active.

In addition to the program administrators and supervising psychologists, the platform is supported by a team of volunteer psychologists, specially trained in dealing with bullying, who respond to the new messages on the platform, at all hours of the day.

The program is implemented both in schools and other educational areas, as well as online.

  • 3000 registered minors and adult users on the platform.
  • 2500 teachers and parents have attended the program’s trainings (online and live).
  • 50 schools and 6000 students have attended the program’s trainings (online and live).

The organization has developed a network of educational units, educators, parents and professionals working with children, through which it coordinates and implements training and awareness raising activities on issues such as inclusion, acceptance, combating violence and bullying, and fellowship. Based on Live Without Bullying, KMOP participates in the consortium of the European project T-Games- Games for Tolerance, in the framework of which a database of original and existing educational games will be developed, for children aged 4-10, in order to prevent and combat school bullying.
