We provided 2,100 meals to fellow citizens who are homeless and located in the central areas of Athens and Piraeus. Supporting the non-profit organization 'Deipno Agapis", volunteers from DIMAND offered food, water, dessert, fruits, tea, or juice to the homeless individuals in our city, regardless of weather conditions.

In the unexpected chill of winter, a light of love shone in the central areas of Athens and Piraeus. Carrying love and solidarity into action, we provided 2,100 meals to people deprived of the most essential human need, shelter. Not only did we meet their basic needs, but we did something much more profound - we gave them the feeling that someone is there, cares, and is willing to help.

By offering warm meals, food, water, dessert, fruits, tea, and juices, we created a sense of community and dignity for those who feel disconnected from society. With every portion, we brought warmth to their hearts and hope for better days.

The dates of January 11, 13, and 15, 2022, will remain indelibly etched in our memory. No one is alone when there are people demonstrating noble altruistic behavior. The expressions of gratitude and joy on their faces were the reward for every effort.
