IASO: Partnership with the Orama Elpidas Association for the creation of a Bone Marrow Donor Registration Center

Objective Action

The aim of creating a Bone Marrow Donor Registration Center at IASO is to find donors of bone marrow, to be used in transplantations for children and adults suffering from serious diseases, such as leukemia, aplastic anemia and thalassemia. This offers hope to these patients, as a transplantation is the only way to treat these diseases.

IASO is supporting the Orama Elpidas Association for the creation of a Bone Marrow Donor Registration Center.
IASO is also expanding its partnership with the Orama Elpidas Association, by donating part of the proceeds from each delivery at the hospital to support the Orama Elpidas Bone Marrow Donor Bank.
Both these initiatives form part of the IASO Group By your Side CSR program, through which the IASO Group has been steadily supporting vulnerable social groups and significant actions carried out by associations and NGOs, offering top-level healthcare services.
