Holistic Benefits & Development Plan: Investing in Electra Hotels & Resorts People

The Group’s objective was to develop a comprehensive Employee Value Proposition that addresses both the everyday needs and the critical life moments of its employees, while strengthening engagement, collaboration, and a sense of belonging. Particular emphasis was placed on ensuring equal access to benefits and learning opportunities for all, while respecting the unique characteristics of each unit.

The hospitality sector is characterized by high operational demands, strong seasonality, geographic dispersion of units, and intense competition in attracting and retaining talent. For Electra Hotels & Resorts, 2025 marked a pivotal year for further enhancing the employee experience through a unified, structured, and people-centric framework of benefits and training.

The main challenge was the harmonization of practices and policies across different types of properties (city and resort hotels), employing individuals with diverse roles, ages, and expectations. At the same time, the Group was called upon to address modern employee needs, including security, wellbeing, financial stability, recognition, and professional development.

To achieve its objectives, the Group implemented a comprehensive, multi-layered benefits plan, centrally designed and consistently applied across all properties. The benefits were structured around discount partnerships and corporate offerings with a strong social and family-oriented character.

During 2025, targeted benefits were introduced, such as birth and wedding gifts, Back-to-School support, rewards for success in national university entrance examinations, as well as Easter and Christmas benefits. In addition, recognition initiatives were implemented, including Housekeeping Week and the celebration of International Women’s Day.

At the same time, team-building and community engagement activities were developed in Athens and Thessaloniki. The Group also provides private health insurance, a private pension plan for executives, and financial support through meal vouchers and gift cards. The plan was further complemented by an extensive training program combining in-person and digital learning.

The implementation of the holistic benefits and training plan had a meaningful and measurable impact on the employee experience and the Group’s overall operations.

In 2025, a total amount exceeding €600,000 was distributed through meal vouchers and gift cards, while hundreds of employees and their families were supported through financial, social, and family-oriented benefits.

In terms of skills development, 116 unique training initiatives were delivered, with 2,211 participations and a total of 5,283.5 training hours, reaching 951 employees. The combination of benefits and learning initiatives strengthened employee engagement, sustainability, and long-term relationships of trust with the Group.
