Green Planet Program - Tree planting, reforestation and forest protection in Greece and the rest of the world.

Green Planet's goal is to plant one billion trees worldwide by 2030.

we4all has planted more than 2.000.000 trees to date all over Greece and various parts of the world, such as in the USA, Canada, Uganda, Nigeria, Nigeria, Kenya, Indonesia, Italy and other countries.
We are proud to have been recognized as official partners of the UN for the Ecosystem Restoration Program 2021 – 2030, and we work with
with over 300 local authorities and regional organisations and agencies to carry out our actions.

2018 - 2030

Since 2018 and to date we have planted over 2,000,000 trees, not only creating new green lungs around the world, but also supporting local communities in areas affected by devastating fires and floods.

At the same time, we are also in remote and poor communities, thus enabling residents, through the planting of fruit trees, to engage in sustainable agriculture both as a means of addressing climate change, but also to taste the fruits that trees so abundantly provide and to make a living from this employment.

An important example of the Green Planet project is the recent completion of the planting of 1,000,000 trees in Canada and on the West Coast of the USA.

For this project, over 50 tree planters planted 100,000+ seedlings per day on land that had been cleared for industrial timber production, up to the goal of one million trees. For this particular action, our seeds were collected from the same planting areas matching the genetics of the trees already growing there, thus ensuring a survival rate of over 91% for our seedlings, gradually replacing the logged areas with a new thriving forest.

Similar tree planting tactics and actions are currently being implemented in other parts of the world and in collaboration with local communities and environmental organisations which we collaborate with.

U.N. Ecosystem Restoration Program 2021 – 2030

The participation of our volunteers is very important for the achievement of our work and we are grateful to them.

Since 2018 to date, more than 6,000 volunteers have been active in we4all's activities around the world.

Greece, Cyprus, USA, Canada, Uganda, Nigeria, Kenya, Indonesia, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany and other countries.

To date we have planted 2,225,000 new trees around the world that release 713,219 kg of Oxygen and absorb 134,110 kg of Carbon Dioxide every day.

By choosing the sites for our tree plantations, we have positively impacted over 6,000,000 people around the world, improving their quality of life (air quality, creating new green lungs, protecting and restoring the ecosystem) and contributing to the development of the local economy.
