The aim is to enable them to function as multipliers of the idea of the Circular Economy both in their workplace and in their social environment.

The training is addressed to employees in the wider field of Environmental Education.

Description

The seminars and workshops of the FoodSaveShare campaign, organized in the Municipality of Heraklion, Crete, give the opportunity to the participants to be informed about the problem of food waste production, but also to see how with simple but inventive moves, they can significantly reduce the amount of food excess and end up in the waste bin. Suggestions are made by food waste management experts who have extensive experience in adult education.

Initiative Location

The seminars are organized by the Municipality of Heraklion, but there is a possibility of participation from all the Municipalities of the country as they address a problem that concerns all regions of Greece and in addition are held online.
