At ELVE, we do not only actively invest in sustainable development activities., we also believe in the importance of a company’s social responsibility and long-term commitment.
Because quality is our priority, our materials are chosen with the outmost care, our products are free of any harmful substances (when applicable, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified) and our manufacturing partners hold numerous accreditations proving their social and eco-engagement.
While placing our employee’s safety and health at heart (OHSAS 18001:2007 / ELOT 1801:2208 certified), we ensure that everyone follows all of our eco-responsible guidelines such as the recycling of paper and fabric.
ELVE with its continuous investments in renewable energy sources and certified with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001: 2015, not only proves its social and ecological commitment through the certified quality systems and environmental management, but also through important & regular initiatives:
In recent years, ELVE has:
- donated clothes to the refugee center in Kavala
- donated medical masks and uniforms against the COVID pandemic to Greek institutions, hospitals, companies, and other local organizations
- fully aligned with existing environmental legislation
- donated fabrics to local theatrical productions
- donated fabrics and other materials to dog shelters to make blankets and beds
- prevented carbon dioxide emissions
In collaboration with the nanotechnology laboratories of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, ELVE helped in the application of flexible solar panels in SMART clothing
Our people, our partners and with their responsible orders, our customers participate as well.
Based in Kavala, we hope that our actions related to sustainable development will affect all aspects of our network, whether our collaborations are in Greece or abroad.
