The actions took place in 2013 - 2014 and new similar actions are going to take place in 2015.

Antipollution stands out for its activity on environmental protection. Our company participates in the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association. It is the joint initiative of Greek seafarers and ship - owners to voluntarily take responsibility for the elimination of marine pollution generated by ships and enhance safety at sea.

The goal of this initiative is to create environmental awareness and improve security in the maritime community, through a coordinated volunteer effort to inform, educate and motivate everyone, from the owner to the last sailor.

Furthermore, Antipollution participates every year in voluntary actions for the protection of the environment such as “Let’s do it Greece”, that encourages the voluntary participation to countrywide cleanups for a single day but also in coast cleanups organized by HELMEPA. Antipollution also participated in the voluntary recycling and cleaning as well as in informing children about the importance of recycling, which was organized by the Hellenic Society for Environment and Cultural Heritage.

Antipollution has cooperated with HELMEPA for the cleanup of the coast of Megalo Kavouri in Vouliagmeni, Attica.

The majority of our employees took part in the voluntary actions.

Attica

As a result of the Cleanups in which our compan participated, about 500 pounds of waste from beaches of Glyfada and Vouliagmeni were collected.
